| Description | Done with my rather limited visit to the Osaka Castle, thanks largely to most of it being closed, except for a couple of floors at the top, I stopped by beside a vending machine on the ground floor to pick up a cold coffee. Yes, everything is sold through vending machines in Japan. As I was enjoying my coffee, I spotted this small vending machine, also in the lobby. This machine would dispense (for a fee of course) a medal commemorating your visit to the Osaka Castle. There were several options. I found it a tad goofy, and probably others felt that way too, as there did not seem to be any takers. (Osaka, Japan, Apr/ May 2019) |
