| Description |
Magyar: A Pyrker-szoros Szarvaskő határában. 1840 előtt a hegyen-völgyön átvezető erdei utak helyett, Pyrker János László egri érsek jóvoltából, 1839-ben az Eger-patak szűk, félkörívben kanyarodó völgyében, robbantásokkal vájatott szekérutat. A szarvaskői sziklaszurdokban 140 m hosszúságban robbantották le a sziklafalat, jelentősen lerövidítve az utat észak felé. A nemes kezdeményezés megvalósítójára - ahol ma a 25-ös főút vezet keresztül – a mai napig fennmaradt emléktábla emlékezteti az arra haladókat.
