A Medival to Post Medieval copper alloy double loop buckle.
Description
English: A Medieval to Post Medieval cast copper alloy double looped buckle dating from c.1350-1650 AD. The frame is 'D' shaped in cross section and the strap bar is integral. The are very small moulded knops on either end of the strap bar. The buckle is bent so that it is concave from the front. The buckle is 22.1mm long, 15.8mm wide, 1.9mm thick and weighs 2.0 grams.
