Summary
[edit]DescriptionA 'Squirrel' chase helicopter. Lulworth Camp-Bovington Ranges, Dorset. 18-11-2002 MOD 45142235.jpg |
English: Pictured is an Army Air Corps 'Squirrel' helicopter. It is a variant of the AS350 Ecureuil civil helicopter. The relatively modern Squirrel is the training aircraft of choice for both the Defence Helicopter Flying School and the Operational Training Phase of flying at Middle Wallop, Hampshire. This single engine aircraft makes the perfect platform for instructing all the differing flying techniques required of brand new pilots.
