Afghanistan Democracy and Development Organization (ADDO) is a non-governmental and non profit organization registered as NGO with the Ministry of Economy in NGO Affairs Department, Government of Afghanistan. ADDO have more than 20 years of experiences under the name of Cooperation Center for Afghanistan (CCA). On 2014 the Democracy and Human Rights department of the CCA divided from CCA and reregistered by the name of ADDO. The Organization aims to promote democracy values and human rights through building the capacity of Afghan citizen, conduct research, advocacy and represent a better Afghanistan in the world. ADDO is a new established organization with a qualified and experienced management team. ADDO is working with policy makers , CSOs, women groups, youths groups and children to improve the on going democracy and development conditions in both rural and urban areas of Afghanistan through conducting training, research, legislation monitoring, advocacy, capacity building, protection of environment, awareness rising, campaign and networking. The organization is uniquely formed to work for strengthening of democracy values through education, research and advocacy in Afghanistan. The most board member and management team of ADDO is previews CCA team. CCA divided in two organization and ADDO is human rights department of CCA which is re registered as a new organization. And ADDO mission is to reach its vision through intervention encompasses: education, advocacy, research, Knowledge creation, awareness building, empowering civil society and strategic measures towards sustainable development and good governance for lasting peace and democracy in Afghanistan. |
