Description
English: The golden bootleg or golden cap mushroom (Phaeolepiota aurea) can be found throughout Eurasia and North America. In Europe it is considered a rare species.The specimen in the picture is in the early stage of the fruit body's growth (about 5 days in age). It was cut apart to expose the connection between cap and stipe.
