| Description |
English: A23 (T) Viewed from the bridge that carries both a farm access road and a footpath over it. Also a rare view lacking traffic, early Sunday morning being the main reason. This section of the A23 was built in the early 1990s to bypass the villages of Albourne and Sayers Common where the original road had become single lane, the road rejoins the old route north of Hickstead. Half the pleasure of driving southwards on this road is the view of the South Downs a sure sign for those who live in Brighton that home is not far away. The bridge in the distance carries the B2116. |
