Summary[edit]

Description
English: The gas stove did not have an anti-tip bar. So, instead of ordering a new part from the stove maker through the Internet, I built one, using a board and a metal clip. It worked. When the stove was pushed against the wall, the clip caught the back of the stove, and if somebody (accidentally) tipped the oven, by placing a heavy weight on it, the entire stove would not turn over on the person. The stove anti-tip bar is a smart safety device often required by plumbing codes.
