9E5650 medieval harness pendant
Description
English: Medieval copper alloy horse harness pendant, 33mm long, 21mm wide with a weight of 4.71 grams. The pendant is in fair condition, having a corroded surface but still showing its design. The pendant is shield shaped and has an integral loop which is 6mm wide. The decoration shows three parallel lines running from top left to bottom right. Below this are three probable lions rampant in a row. The upper corner has similar motifs which may be lione and are arranged in a triangle. None of the enamel is present.
