Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Masrur rock-cut temple in Himachal Pradesh shows a diversity of iconography from all major traditions of Hinduism. Michael Meister states that this likely reflects Hindu ecumenism or henotheism by the 8th-century. Above is an incomplete location of some icon reliefs. For more details see Figure 25 and discussion in Meister's doi:10.2307/25068237
