| Description |
English: Orbit of the periodic comet 75D/Kohoutek. In the picture, Comet Kohoutek is represented in the point of maximun approach to the Earth, on 1988, January 14th during its 1987-88 return. Comet Sun distance and Earth distance are reported. Earth, Mars and Jupier orbits and positions are also reported.
Italiano: Orbita della cometa periodica 75D/Kohoutek. Nell'immagine la cometa è rappresentata nel punto di massimo avvicinamento alla Terra, il 14 gennaio 1988, durante la sua apparizione del 1987-1988. Sono riportate per confronto le orbite della Terra, di Marte e di Giove; sono indicate le distanze della cometa dalla Terra e dal Sole. Inoltre, in ciano e bianco sono indicate le porzioni delle orbite rispettivamente della cometa e dei pianeti al di sopra del piano dell'eclittica; in blu e grigrio quelle al di sotto. |
