December 29, 1970 Mr. George L. Emery, Superintendent Gettysburg National Military Park Gettysburg, Pennsylvania Dear Mr. Emery: Mrs. Clarence R. Letteer, Chairman of the Louisiana Gettysburg Memorial Commission has asked me to get some information pertinent to the unveiling of the Louisiana Monument, tentative date set for June 11, 1971. Will you please give me the following information, or, advise me where I can get the information? First, for those that go by plane, where would they land, and transportation to the Monument? Second, for those that go by plane, where would they land, and transportation to the Motel or Hotel to arrange for accommodations? Third, a suitable place to arrange for a luncheon for about one o’clock, with price? We shall thank you very much if you can help us with these details. We are looking forward to meeting you and seeing Gettysburg. Sincerely yours [Signed] Mrs. Felix D. Catha
