Title
7043D4 harness pendant
Description
English: Medieval copper alloy, gilt and enamel heraldic pendant, 26mm long and 14mm wide. The object is in a fair condition with a green patina. The object has a suspension loop 8mm long and 4mm thick with a small hole. The suspension loop merges into a ridge which runs down the centre of the reverse. The pendant is shield shaped and has patches of red enamel on its surface. The pattern has been obscured but may represent the plantagenet lions. It has a large patch of gilding at the junction of the shield and loop.
