Summary[edit]
Description70-class set entering Waterside - 1973 (geograph 3465518).jpg |
English: 70-class set entering Waterside - 1973 1966 UTA built 70-class power-car No. 72 "River Foyle" approaches Waterside station with a passenger service from Belfast (York Road). Ebrington Barracks, which was then a major army base, can be seen to the right (see: C4416 : Ebrington Barracks and parade ground, Londonderry. ) The exact date of this photograph is uncertain, but is thought to be 1973 as 72 is still in UTA colours, although with an NIR logo. |
