| Description |
English: Whiteley Road was the house at the centre of a landlord/tenant dispute, Antoniades v Villiers [1988] UKHL 8. The case turned on whether the contract between the landlord and the tenant amounted to a lease or a mere licence. The House of Lords held it was the latter. |
