Description639711main E74-26992B full.jpg	English: Research in applying aerodynamic drag reduction techniques to ground vehicles was conducted at NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s. This photo shows a relatively smooth, uniform airflow around the "Shoebox" structure mounted on a van after the corners of the structure were rounded.
