thought to the weather which might prevail in the late fall or the early part of the year. It almost seems impossible there should be so much snow in the North when we have had very little cold here. I am sending Mr. Emery a copy of this letter in order that he may know that I was more than pleased to hear from him. He has been of great assistance to know us and we are most grateful. I was so pleased over the beautiful photograph of the bronze statue of the Green Beret soldier, 16 ft. high on a granite 6 ft. pedestal which you recently sculpted and which was dedicated at the J. F. Kennedy Center at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. I hope to have another copy of the magazine to send to Mr. Emery in the near future. My Secretary and I will have a complete report of everything we have done sometimes this month. I was delayed in my work on this important project by the sudden illness and death of my beloved sister. Thinking of you and Mrs. DeLue, and with my best wishes to both of you and to the Murphys, I am Cordially yours, [Signed] (Mrs.) Clarence R. Letteer, Chairman LA.
