中文（臺灣）：1914年（大正3年）6月2日，龜山副指揮官得其黎前進隊向永田隊長說明戰況一景。這天，太魯閣之役剛開始，軍隊準備入侵太魯閣地區。其實早在5天前的5月29日，龜山副指揮官就派花蓮港廳廳長飯田章去向原住民招降，但太魯閣總頭目哈鹿閣納威拒絕會面，開戰前的招降無果，5月31日進攻行動便正式開始。僅僅一個月的時間，日軍的東西線攻勢就已將太魯閣山區包圍。7月3日，總頭目哈鹿閣納威見大勢已去，不願見到部落與族人再增加傷亡，繳納槍械投降。此圖為花蓮港增田從軍寫真師攝影。其照片地點位置不詳，故暫將位置點在日治時期花蓮港憲兵隊的位址（今花蓮市憲兵公園）。本資料出自於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》，此書由花蓮出身的葉柏強先生撰寫，是一本擁有大量歷史影像的書籍，於2016年（民國105年）出版，可以透過此書了解花蓮的城市變遷樣貌。 |
