5A5774 post med cloth seal
Description
English: Post medieval lead alloy cloth seal, 31mm in diameter. The object is in good condition with a grey patina and weighs 16.58 grams. The seal consists of two discs of lead pressed together and joined by a narrow strip 19mm long. The front of the seal has a late privy mark with WF. The reverse is incised with XZ4 3Z? A very similar example is shown in 'finds identified' and dates from the 18th Century.
