Description
English: The U.S. Air Force flagships of the 52d Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, fly over Hohenzollern Castle in Germany, 17 February 2000. The 52nd at that time operated two General Dynamics F-16C Fighting Falcon squadrons, the 22nd and 23rd Fighter Squadrons, and the 81st Fighter Squadron, which flew the Fairchild A-10A Thunderbolt II. Three F-16C Falcons lead the formation followed by the A-10A.
