Summary[edit]

Description The arch to the left of the old Victoria Family & Commercial Hotel (the pub located at 48 Great George Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire) is on the site of what was once 50 Great George Street. That site was once the location of a much older arch, leading to the stone yard and studio of the group of Leeds architectural sculptors started by Robert Mawer. The group used this site as a stone yard and business address, between at least 1854 and 1881.
