Summary
[edit]Description4th Glorious Mystery Stained Glass Window (Assumption of Mary) Cathedral of the Madeleine Salt Lake City 01.jpg |
English: The ascension window at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City was installed in 1908 by F. X. Zettler of the House of Littler, Royal Bavarian Institute in Munich. It is the fourth in a set of five windows depicting the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary along the east side of the Cathedral. The window is dedicated to the parents of Very Reverend Doctor Denis Kiely, a native of Waterford, Ireland, born in 1849 who came to Salt Lake City shortly after his ordination and served as assistant pastor, Cathedral rector, and vicar general of the Diocese. |
