49DEF6a Roman ? intaglio ring
Description
English: Modern (19th century) copper alloy and glass intaglio ring bezel, 17mm long and 14mm wide. The object is in a fair condition with a powdery green patina and weighs 1.62 grams. It has a plain oval bezel with no signs of shoulders. This is filled with red glass which has a depression in its centre which appears to portray a human head.
