Gettysburg National Military Park National Park Service Gettysburg Pa, 17325 April 24, 1972 Gentlemen: Attached, please find the PLOT PLAN for the proposed Mississippi Memorial on West Confederate Avenue. Following, are the specifications: 1.) WALKWAY AND TERRACE ARE TO BE OF GREY FLAGSTONE OF RANDOM SIZE. MORTAR JOINTS WILL BE DARKENED PER THE WISH OF THE COMMISSION. 2.) APPROACH WALKWAY IS FORTY-FIVE (45) FEET LONG, AND EIGHT (8) FEET WIDE. 3.) TERRACE AREA WILL BE FORTY (40) FEET LONG, AND TWENTY-FOUR (24) FEET WIDE. 4.) EXPANSION JOINTS WILL BE EMPLOYED AROUND THE FOUNDATION FO THE FEATURE MEMORIAL. 5.) WALKWAY AND TERRACE AREA WILL BE INSTALLED ARTER MAIN FOUNDATION HAS BEEN PLACED. 6.)
