English: 433 Eros orbit diagram, obtained using JPL Small-Body Database data.
Top picture shows the projections of Mars and 433 Eros orbit on the plane of Earth orbit (Plane of the ecliptic); bottom picture shows 433 Eros orbit inclination respect to on the plane of Earth orbit. Earth, Mars and 433 Eros positions on the September 15th, 2009 are reported. Italiano: Orbita dell'asteroide 433 Eros, calcolata utilizzando i dati ed il programma forniti dal Jet Propulsion Laboratory della NASA. La vista in alto mostra le proiezioni delle orbite di Marte e di Eros sul piano dell'orbita terrestre (eclittica); la vista in basso permette di visualizzare l'inclinazione dell'orbita di 433 Eros rispetto al piano dell'eclittica, visto di taglio. In ciano e bianco sono indicate le porzioni delle orbite rispettivamente di 433 Eros e di Marte al di sopra del piano dell'eclittica; in blu e grigrio quelle al di sotto. Sono indicate le posizioni dell'asteroide, della Terra e di Marte al 15 settembre 2009. |
