It was a cold day and it had started snowing. I was wondering what I was doing in the middle of a Motorway bridge with an icy wind blowing around me. But finally I was rewarded when I spotted this DAF transporter from the Froom Street bridge which crosses the M61 at Chorley. Like a car transporter on the steroids this transporter was carrying 3 cab/chassis, probably from the DAF factory at Leyland. The Dutch specialist transport company, DeRooy operates from several locations throughout Europe and Russia. The Polish registered transporter pictured here is from the depot at Zary. |
