English: White paper with typed black text Date: November 9, 1966 To: Memorandum for the files From: Superintendent Subject: Proposed Louisiana Memorial Mr. J.W. Kingsburg, Box 404, Amite, Louisiana 70422, in company with Mr. Donald MacPhail of Gettysburg, visited here on November 7 and discussed proposed locations with the Superintendent and Dr. Tilberg. The consensus was that it should be located on East Confederate Avenue in the vicinity of Stop 14. This was the position of the Louisiana Tigers prior to their movement against Union positions on the East Cemetery Hill. [Signed] George F. Emery
