Concernant les Premiers Jours, seule la série émise en octobre 41 pour le couronnement de Norodom aura un cachet qui tient lieu de premier jour. Cependant, certains négociants ont pu réaliser des enveloppes commémoratives spéciales à titre privé. Afin de bien marquer son attachement à la politique de Pétain, 28 Daguin ont été employés avec des slogans très « politiques » (aimer le peuple et non le flatter, antidémocrate par amour du peuple…) Ces Daguin sont rectangulaires au Tonkin, et carrés en Cochinchine. Ils sont difficiles à se procurer, tout comme le courrier ayant circulé à l’intérieur de l’Indochine. Ils disparaissent début 44. Il semble que les Daguin politiques n’ont pas été utilisés en Annam, Laos, et Cambodge. Il existe aussi des Daguin à connotation non politique (Foires expositions…). Au moment de la capitulation des japonais, le courrier (même interne) fonctionne très mal. On commence à voir des Daguin (ou autre marques postales) avec des slogans anti-français dès aout 45, même dans le sud. |
