Summary[edit]

Description 330-PSA-90-60 (USN 710736) ASROC fire-control system is the first shipboard installation of a digital computer. Computer receives electrical signals of target course and speed, wind direction and speed, and attack ship course, speed, pitch and roll. These signals are used to compute future position of target, launcher angle and distance missile will fly. Photograph released June 24, 1960. (8/25/2015).
