Description 330-CFD-DN-SD-05-00344: US Navy (USN) Sailors aboard the USN Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) "man the rails" as the ship arrives in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The Stennis and Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14) are taking part in Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2004. RIMPAC is the largest international maritime exercise in the waters around the Hawaiian Islands. This year's exercise includes seven participating nations: Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States. RIMPAC enhances the tactical proficiency of participating units in a wide array of combined operations at sea, while enhancing stability in the Pacific Rim region, 6/29/2004 PHC Don Bray, USN. (OPA-NARA II-8/27/2015).
