Description
English: Private residences located at 3041–3051 N Street, N.W., in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C.


Wheatley Row, located at 3041–3045 N Street, N.W., is comprised of three, Italianate, brick row houses built for the Wheatley and Gordon families:

  • 3041 N Street, N.W. (far right; red building) – Built in 1859 for William A. Gordon, a local businessman.
  • 3043 N Street, N.W. (light red) – Built in 1859 for William A. Gordon; also known as the Wheatley Town House.
  • 3045 N Street, N.W. (yellow) – Built in 1855 for Francis Wheatley, a prominent citizen of Georgetown.


3047 N Street, N.W. (blue), an 11-foot-wide spite house, was built in 1926.
3051 N Street, N.W. (grey), designed by architect James Crawford Neilson, was built in 1862.

The five buildings are designated as contributing properties to the Georgetown Historic District, a National Historic Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1967.
