English: A Turkish Land Force Soldier gets familiar with the M2 .50 caliber during a safety briefing on the weapon, given by Soldiers from Hawk Company, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, on 06. December 2011. 2nd Cavalry Regiment is conducting a Small Unit Exchange with the Turkish Army from Dec. 2 to 12 Dec. 2011 to build and develop an enduring relationship with the Turkish Land Forces. The exchange is a 2-part exercise, with 2nd Cavalry Regiment deploying a squad sized element to train at the Turkish Commando School and the Turkish Army deploying a 10-man detachment to Rose Barracks to train with 2nd Cavalry Regiment.
