Title
2nd Ave. north from James St., 1907
Description

Transcribed from photograph: "Streets. Second Ave. 1907. Looking North from James St. 1. Alaska Building. 2. Oriental Block. 3. Crown Block. 4. Seattle Hotel."

This seems to have significant retouching, both on the wall of the Oriental Block (still extant 2022 as the Corona Building, just this side of the Alaska Building) and on the buildings in the distance.

Annotated. Note Wilson Whiskey ad on the side of a building that his been blanked out here. [That presumes that the ad is really there, not retouching!]

Again retouched, both by a different removal of the Wilson Whiskey ad and by the treatment of the buildings in the distance.
