Description

2 of 2 Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) a large fish-eating raptor bird of prey as seen at the Morro Bay, CA Marina just below the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History. 30 Sept. 2008. Michael "Mike" L. Baird, Canon 1D Mark III 600mm IS with 2X TE and polarizer, on tripod. Exposure: f/18 for max depth-of-field yielded only 1/160 with the polarizer maxed out and ISO 400 - a big Gitzo tripod and Gimbal head was locked down tight - should have used a remote shutter.
