Description24Seven- OMG Flight Crew 15-17 EDT (26482638901).png |
English: It’s all smiles aboard NASA’s Gulfstream III aircraft mapping ice sheets for Oceans Melting Greenland (OMG) with a sophisticated radar instrument that generates high-resolution, high-precision measurements of glacier height. OMG will pave the way for improved estimates of sea level rise by investigating the extent to which the oceans are melting Greenland’s ice from below. Pictured are Tom Parent, Rocky Smith, Angel Vasquez and Dick Clark. omg.jpl.nasa.gov
