Summary[edit]

Description
English: Annmarie Eldering, deputy project scientist for the Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 satellite, leads a science team meeting at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. OCO-2, launched in 2014, is NASA’s first satellite to measure atmospheric carbon dioxide, a potent greenhouse gas driving climate change. “We believe 2016 will see breakthrough OCO-2 research results, as scientists work to unravel the mysteries of finding carbon dioxide sources and natural sinks,” Eldering has said. oco.jpl.nasa.gov Image credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech
