Description
English: The National Space Organization of Taiwan operations team conducts an end-to-end test of COSMIC-2 (aka FORMOSAT-7) FM2 satellite from the mission operation center in Hsinchu Science Park. A collaboration with the United States, the program employs satellite clusters that utilize a GPS radio occultation (RO) instrument developed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory to provide atmospheric and ionosheric weather data such as temperature, pressure, water vapor content and electron density. www.nspo.narl.org.tw/en/ Image credit: NSPO/Vicky Chu
