English: An image of a postage stamp issued in French Indo-China during World War II (two) by the French colonial authorities from the website "Philatelie et Marcophilie de la 2nde guerre mondiale".
Français : Mais le 28 octobre 1940, le Simplon Express est arrêté (guerre Italie Grèce). La poste recommande donc d’utiliser la voie américaine ou la voie maritime. Le Simplon Express reprend son trafic fin novembre 1940. Entre décembre 40 et le 23 mai 41, des vols entre Marseille et Beyrouth raccourcissent le trajet. Le 6 avril 41, le Simplon Express est à nouveau supprimé. Le courrier peut passer par la Roumanie, ou la Suisse et l’Autriche (donc, censure allemande). Le 10 juin 41, suite à l’attaque du Levant par les anglais, la voie de Lydda est stoppée. Jusqu’en Novembre 41, le courrier passe encore via Bagdad (vols Bangkok Bagdad) puis train via Istanbul et Vienne. |
