Description
English: A Land Rover battlefield ambulance sits on the tarmac as a 230 Sqn Royal Air Force Puma helicopter arrives at RAFO Musannah in Oman during a medivac rehearsal/exercise on Exercise Saif Sareea 3.

Three Pumas from RAF Benson made the journey to Oman, via 99 Sqn C17 Globemaster transport aircraft from RAF Brize Norton, and have were tasked with rotary Medivac roles in the bilateral training exercise involving British and Omani Armed Forces.

Exercise Saif Sareea 3 brought 5,500 UK armed forces (900 personnel from the RAF) together with over 60,000 Omani troops, utilising Air, Sea and Land assets in the Bilateral training exercise in the Omani Desert.
