Description

Still retained for connections to the Isle of Man Steam Packet Ferry service to Douglas, this once per day train traverses the branch from Morecambe. Seen here ready to form 2Y57 13:15 Heysham Port to Leeds formed of class 150/2 set 150.210 operated by Northern Rail.

The train will reverse twice on its 74 mile journey to Leeds (at Morecambe, then again in Lancaster) before taking the route via Carnforth and Hellifield.
