Description
Deutsch: Screenshot des Emulators "Suyu". Es handelt sich um einen Fork von "Yuzu Emulator". Nintendo hat über eine DMCA-Beschwerde und unter Androhung hoher finanzieller Ansprüche Yuzu verbieten lassen (bzw. den Quellcode hiervon). Als Reaktion darauf wurde Yuzu geforkt. Mit derselben Begründung wurde auch eine Sperrung von Suyu (das akustisch wie "sue you" (also "dich verklagen") klingt. In der Praxis ist ist jedoch das Verbannen von Software aus dem World Wide Web schwierig, vor allem wenn es nicht gefährlich und quelloffen ist. Es stellt sich hier wieder die Frage, ob ein Konzern so viel Macht über den Verbleib von Software Dritter haben sollte. Hier sieht man ein paar öffentliche Räume. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe scheint sehr beliebt zu sein.
English: Screenshot of the "Suyu" emulator. It is a fork of the "Yuzu Emulator". Nintendo had Yuzu (or the source code thereof) banned via a DMCA complaint and under threat of high financial claims. In response, Yuzu was forked. Suyu (which sounds like "sue you") was also blocked on the same grounds. In practice, however, banning software from the World Wide Web is difficult, especially if it is not dangerous and open source. This case again raises the question of whether a corporation should have so much power over the whereabouts of third-party software. Here you can see a few public rooms. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe seems to be very popular.
