Description
Deutsch: In der Nische über einem Kellerfenster am Hanomag-Direktionsgebäude in Hannover erinnern vier aus Ziegelsteinen gemauerte Kreise an die auf Schienen laufenden Räder einer Lokomotive. Das Rad-Motiv wiederholt sich auch an den Lampenpfeilern im Treppenaufgang. Der Haupteingang zum Werksgelände befand sich zwischen dem Direktionsgelände und der Lokomotivdreherei.
English: In the niche above a cellar window at the Hanomag headquarters building in Hannover, four circles made of bricks recall the wheels of a locomotive running on rails. The wheel motif is repeated on the lamp posts in the staircase.
