English: The Terra MODIS Image in January 2019 shows Austria from about the Arlberg in the West to Salzammergut in the East und neighboring parts of South Germany and North Italy with clouds over the snowy landscape. South Tyrol and Venetia is visible with snow cover only on the mountain peaks.
Deutsch: Das Terra-MODIS-Satellitenbild zeigt den westlichen Teil Österreichs, etwa vom Arlberg bis ins Salzkammergut sowie angrenzende Gebiete in Süddeutschland und Österreich mit der Wolkenbedeckung während starker Schneefälle. In Südtirol und Venetien sind nur die Höhenlagen über etwa 1200 m schneebedeckt, die Täler, am 7. Januar 2019 etwa das Etschtal bei Bozen (Bolzano), sind weitgehend ohne Schnee. |
