Summary[edit]

Description
English: Entrance to a basement underneath a row of buildings along Sint Servaasklooster in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The buildings house the Sint-Servaaskapel (also: Dagkapel or "Day Chapel"), as well as the sacristy of the Basilica of Saint Servatius, and can only be accessed from the east wing of the cloisters (entrance via Keizer Karelplein). Before 1797 the refectory and school of the chapter were located here. In the late 19th century the buildings were more or less reconstructed; only fragments are medieval. The outer wall is almost entirely 19th-century. Fragments of the older building can be seen near this door.
