Description
English: This image, obtained with the wide-angle Multicolor Visible Imaging Camera (MVIC) component of New Horizons's RALPH instrument, was taken on 1 January 2019 5:26, 7 minutes before closest approach, from a distance of 6,700 km. The image has an original resolution of 440 feet (135 meters) per pixel.
