Summary[edit]

Description
English: Insurance cover of Apollo 12 mission (14 to 24 November 1969) in the Technik Museum Speyer, Germany. Signed by the Crew: Commander Charles "Pete" Conrad, Command Module Pilot Dick Gordon and Alan Bean, Pilot of the Lunar Module. Insurance covers from Apollo 11 to Apollo 16 were signed by the crew members in quarantine just before the start. Those documents limited to a few hundred copies are the rarest and therefore most expensive letters of those missions. They were handed over to the families of the crew members after signing as an insurance form. In case of a failure of the mission and the death of the astronauts, no conventional insurance coverage existed, the family members could sell those covers.
Deutsch: Versicherungsbrief der Apollo 12 Mission (14. - 24.
