Summary[edit]

Description
English: A commemoration shrine at the former "Red-Shirt" headquarters of Chiang Mai for the self appointed "red shirt" military leader Khattiya Sawasdipol, a.k.a. "Seh Daeng" (Red Commander), who was shot in the head by an unknown sniper on May 13th in Bangkok and died from his wounds on May 17th, 2010.

The "Red Shirt" headquarters of Chiang Mai is also the headquarters of the "Thai Red News" radio station. Computers and broadcasting material were confiscated. According to the lieutenant-colonel of the Thai army in charge of the operation, two so-called home-made "ping pong" bombs were found: one the size of a ping pong ball, the other the size of an orange.
