Deutsch: 24.03.2010 09661 Marbach (Striegistal): Ev.-Luth. Dorfkirche (GMP: 51.046146,13.231557) mit Westquerturm aus dem 12. Jahrhundert. An diesen schließt sich das rechteckige Kirchenschiff an. Es wurde 1770 nach Abbruch der alten Kirche errichtet. Innen ist der Raum an drei Seiten von Emporen umgeben, die sich an den Längsseiten - über drei Geschosse aufbauen. Eine Besonderheit der Marbacher Kirche ist, dass es auf den Emporen nie Bänke gab. Die Kirchgänger mussten sich ihre eigenen Stühle mitbringen. Dadurch entstand eine umfangreiche Sammlung unterschiedlichster Stühle vom 18. Jahrhundert bis zur Gegenwart. Der spätbarock /frühklassizistische Kanzelaltar wurde er 1803 vom Marbacher Tischler Johann August Thiemer geschaffen. In den Giebel ist eine Gloriole eingelassen, die durch das von hinten einfallende Licht leuchtet. Die beiden Ostfenster wurden 1905 mit bildlichen Darstellungen geschmückt, die Glasmaler Bruno Urban aus Dresden fertigte.
