Title
2007 T564 Post Medieval silver object face
Description
English: Silver artefact, round with stamped decoration on the front inlaid with glass paste, mostly missing and filled with earth and corrosion. It is obvious from evidence from the reverse that this was a brooch or a button, and it may have been laid into another larger object originally. Although originally submitted for treasure, the Post-Medieval and Modern curators have looked at it and are clear that the stamped decoration suggests a 19th Century date, and therefore this is not within the scope of the 1996 Treasure Act.
