| Description |
Deutsch: 04.11.2007 04808 Dornreichenbach (Lossatal), Phillip-Müller-Platz: Schloß (GMP: 51.369423,12.866733). Das Gebäude setzt sich aus einem barocken Kern und neobarocken Anbauten zusammen, die unter einem durchgehenden Mansarddach zusammengefasst sind. Die Bauformen legen nahe, daß das Gebäude unter Wilhelm Siegmund von Mordeisen, der das Rittergut seit 1667 innehatte, oder unter Gottfried Wilhelm von Mordeisen, der 1727 den Besitz erbte, erbaut wurde. 1882 kaufte Wilhelm von Minckwitz (1837-1922) das Rittergut. Das Herrenhaus wurde für ihn 1882/83 im neobarocken Stil modernisiert und erweitert. Man fügte an den barocken Kern eine sechs Fensterachsen breite Erweiterung an und ergänzte einen Turm. Auf der Parkseite sind die Wappen des Wilhelm von Minckwitz und seiner Ehefrau Marie Freiin von Fabrice (1856-1898) angebracht. Der seit 1936 letzte Eigentümer des Ritterguts, Max Drechsel, wurde 1945 enteignet. In der DDR-Zeit nutzte man das Schloß als Frauenklink und als Altersheim.
